Friendly and outgoing, Ashley was also very young when she began teaching tennis at the CTA as a 15-year-old. She’s passionate about coaching, and absolutely loves the world of tennis. Over the past two years, she has been very successful in making tennis fun and exciting for her own junior and adult students in Bern, Switzerland.

This yellow ball has taught me so much about life, and has taken me all over the world – from Switzerland and Europe to the US and all the way to Australia and New Zealand! I’ve met so many incredible people along my tennis-playing and coaching path, and this yellow ball just keeps on rolling!”
She established her tennis roots and passion for coaching in the capital city of Switzerland; Bern back in the Spring of 2019. Despite Corona, she was able to run a tennis program for the clients of the International School of Bern. She ran and still runs summer camps, cardio tennis, and private and group lessons for all ages & levels. Don’t miss out on her “Sunday Funday” doubles tournaments she runs on the last Sunday of every month.
This Season Coach Ashley is competing with the National C Interclub team, playing with Tennis Club Dählhöltzli. Go cheer her and her Team On if you get a chance. You’ll see some exciting high level singles and doubles matches.
The serve-and-volley specialist Ashley Loft began playing and competing in tennis at a young age together with her sister at the California Tennis Academy (CTA) in Leysin. By the age of 18, she was among the top players in Switzerland and received a scholarship to study in the USA. She played her first two years of college tennis at the prestigious Rollins College in Florida, where she and her sister Lisa formed the No. 1 doubles team. She completed her final two college years with a scholarship at Southern New Hampshire University, where she remained undefeated as the No. 1 player in both singles and doubles, and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality.
